Nearest
airport = Edinburgh 6 miles.
Much of Edinburgh is easily accessible without transport, as the City centre is modestly sized and a walk around the city can be a very pleasant way to get to know your way around. Edinburgh offers an excellent public transport system in the form of reliable bus services to all parts of the city centre and the surrounding area. There are a number of companies who operate these services, the main operator is Lothian Buses PLC. Lothian Buses also operate the X100 Airlink service, which provides a regular bus service between Edinburgh airport and the city centre. Traditional 'Black Cabs' operated by City Cabs are a common sight in Edinburghs city streets. |
