This spacious and stylish apartment forms part of an elegant Victorian terrace ideally situated in Central Edinburgh's New Town Conservation Area less than a 10 minute walk from Princes Street.
ACCOMMODATION
The Peploe Apartment which forms the third (top) floor of a listed Victorian town house, provides spacious and elegant accommodation (75 sq. metres) with pleasant tree lined views to the front and panoramic views to the rear over north Edinburgh to the Forth Valley and the hills of Fife beyond. The accommodation retains many period features and comprises:
- Sitting room / Dining room
- Kitchen with dishwasher and washer / drier
- Bathroom with bath / shower, toilet and hand basin
- One bedroom with king-size double bed
- One bedroom with twin beds
A fold-down bed with a good mattress can be provided in the sitting room or in the bedroom to sleep one additional person.
FACILITIES
Free wireless internet access. Private visitor parking is available on request.
Access to the private wooded Dean Gardens by the Water of Leith is also available for our guests.
LOCATION and AMENITIES
The Peploe Apartment is ideally located in a prime residential area close to a variety of local amenities and attractions. Nearby (less than 0.5 mile) is a Waitrose supermarket, whilst a short walk down the hill is Stockbridge, one of the City's original 'villages', which has many excellent small shops offering fresh produce, a delicatessen, post office, library, public swimming pool and a good variety of restaurants and pubs.
The City Centre is reached by a short walk over Thomas Telford's Dean Bridge spanning the Water of Leith, with the historic Dean Village in the valley to the west and the private wooded Dean Gardens to the east - access to which is available to guests. To the north, by way of Stockbridge, the Water of Leith and Inverleith Park, is the world renowned Royal Botanic Garden.
As befits a capital city, Edinburgh has an abundance of attractions - historical, architectural, cultural, educational, scenic and sporting. Home of the Edinburgh International Festival, there are many places of interest. Within a few minutes walk from the apartment, in the west end of the city centre, are The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, and the Dean Gallery with exhibits of modern Scottish and European sculpture and art - both galleries have excellent cafeteria/coffee shops.

TERMS and CONDITIONS
The accommodation is strictly non smoking and not suitable for Hen or Stag parties. Regret no pets.
Arrival: Accommodation will be available from 1.00pm or as soon after as possible. Please let us know your ETA in advance, so that we can arrange to meet you and show you into the apartment.
Departure: We require the accommodation to be vacated no later than 10.30am, unless by prior arrangement.
Damages/Faults: We don't require a damages deposit, but guests should report any damage/breakage or fault as soon as possible.
